EVIOM has been informed that Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre have made available EV charging facilities. There are two identical posts, one in the lower car park and one in the upper car/trailer park, only about 20 metres apart.
Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre are more than happy for them to be used by visitors. They were fitted during the build, primarily as a mains hook up for motor homes, but as they are basic "commando" sockets they can also be used as EV charging points. To use the power outlets you'll need a "granny" or EVSE cable with either a commando plug or an adapter for the domestic 3-pin sockets you get with many UK market EVs. The same as you would use at Chester Street in Douglas for example.
Each post has four sockets, a total of eight points available for cafe customers, holiday let guests, and anyone visiting really. We've added the chargers to Plugshare and Zap-Map.
